For three decades, Allan has dedicated his career to developing outstanding inpatient and outpatient healthcare real estate assets. Allan leads Prevarian's strategic direction and identifies qualified opportunities for providers to capitalize on market demand, improve access to care, and strengthen market position through alignments and joint ventures. Allan has an undergraduate degree in Architecture from Florida A&M University, a Master's degree in Architecture from the University of Texas at Arlington, and a Graduate Certificate in Real Estate Development from the College of Business Administration at UTA.

Dodd Crutcher

Dodd Crutcher

After a dozen years as General Counsel and Chief Investment Officer for a major Dallas real estate investment firm, Dodd joined Prevarian in 2010 to oversee our Seniors Housing division which resulted in multiple communities across four States. Dodd oversees investment underwriting, finance, and development. His experience is diverse, including general office, surgery centers, hospitals, medical office, retail, and hospitality investments operations and real estate. Dodd has a Bachelor of Arts from Washington and Lee University and a Juris Doctor from SMU Law School.

Kacie Conkey

Kacie Conkey

Kacie has worked in commercial real estate since 1998. Prior to joining Prevarian in 2014, she was Director of Investor Relations and Asset Manager for a major Dallas commercial real estate firm. As Senior Asset Manager for Prevarian, she manages financial analysis and modeling and our communication with our capital partners and lenders. Kacie unifies and focuses the team and consistently maintains our high-quality due diligence. Kacie attended the University of Texas.

Kathy De La Vergne

Kathy De La Vergne

Kathy began her career in healthcare real estate when healthcare real estate was still considered a "niche." She has held leadership roles at national companies like Hammes Company and has experience with all aspects of healthcare real estate development, acquisition, and brokerage. Kathy guides Prevarian's development and leasing initiatives and manages lender and partner relationships. Kathy has a Bachelor's Degree with dual majors in Finance and Urban Land Economics from Southern Methodist University.

Jerry Jackson

Jerry Jackson

Jerry has 35 years of real estate development and project management experience both domestically and internationally. His experience covers a wide spectrum of asset classes, including multi-family, mixed-use, retail, office, industrial, healthcare, heavy civil, marine, and single family. He is a Civil Engineer and oversees construction and project management, cost estimating, entitlements, and design and construction team coordination for Prevarian. Jerry has a degree structural and geotechnical engineering from Texas Tech University and is a LEED Accredited Professional.

Michaela Avitabile

Michaela has more than 10 years of experience in healthcare real estate, specializing in portfolio optimization and strategic healthcare development. She has partnered with health systems, physician groups, and investors nationwide to manage large lease portfolios, lead site selection efforts, and structure transactions that align with both business and clinical goals. Known for bridging operator needs with strategic outcomes, Michaela delivers solutions that enhance efficiency and expand patient access. She earned her degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. At Prevarian, Michaela will focus on advancing healthcare development opportunities through strategic partnerships and innovative real estate solutions.

Nick Derby

Nick Derby

Nick is a seasoned real estate professional with over 21 years of real estate development and project management experience. His expertise spans a broad range of asset classes, including healthcare, large multi-family, urban infill, historic renovations, and single-family developments. Over the last six years, Nick oversaw the planning, development, and delivery of complex healthcare facilities for one of the largest healthcare systems in the country. Most recently he has completed a certificate in Project Management from Cornell University and holds a certificate in Real Estate Finance from Boston University. His undergraduate degree studies were in Business Administration at Roanoke College, building a solid foundation in business principles that complement his technical expertise.
